Updated: Apr 20, 2021

Black woman historically are the first humanoids on this great planet we call earth. We have birthed civilizations, survived and thrived despite adversity in spaces and time.

I thank God that as a woman I have the gifts of the universe .I am creative, creator of life, art and a nurturer, but sometimes I have to remind myself that nature grows, has seasons. The first attraction i had to nature as a little girl-was how much it changes. Taking time tor yourself , transforming your surroundings and creating comfort for yourself are 3 ways that help you grow. #BWEG believes in #TLC (Time , Laughs and Comfort)

I find life being heavy at times, especially with COVID and society all entangled, as if being a woman is not stressful enough , I have to manage life not only as a woman, but a black woman! Trauma from generations, the murder of black folks by cops, the gun violence. Not to mention my persistent anxiety. The issues of daily life and in society are reoccurring but so should your #TLC (Time, Laughs and Comfort), being intentional about your stress-relief makes all the difference. Saving money and time is critical And its a lot healthier than feeding yourself negative thoughts and habits.

Hold on tight to yourself , your dreams & never let go

It is important for us to continue to encourage one another to be the better version of ourselves. Black women , no matter what part of the diaspora you are from , have endured adversity that are so cruel and unspeakable . Through it all we remain strong, poised and passionate. not that we are all a monolith, but we are clearly a force to be reckoned with. The western world has historically deemed us unworthy and we push back against those biases and prevail.
